Tour for Democracy
A project by AAB Humanitarian Association gGmbH in cooperation with Fun Facts
To mark the state elections in Saxony-Anhalt and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the Fun Facts Summer Tour brings civic education and public dialogue directly to cities and local communities. The aim is to explain complex topics in an accessible way and actively engage local residents.
Tour Schedule
- Period: August 10 – September 2, 2026
- Scope: Up to 20 events in Saxony-Anhalt and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania
- Programme:
- Recording – Fun Facts produces an episode with a regional focus, hosted by a rotating selection of personalities from the worlds of art, culture, music, and media. The episode will be broadcast the following day across all Fun Facts channels.

- Live Show – This is followed by an exclusive programme or concert by the respective host.
The topics are identified through a three-stage process: involving the event venues, holding discussions with regional stakeholders, and directly surveying local residents. In cooperation with CORRECTIV, it is ensured that the content is relevant to regional development and democratic participation.

Goals of the Tour
- Reach more than 4,000 people in person
- Achieve a reach of over 5 million through digital channels
- Raise the visibility of local issues and bring them into the broader public discourse
- Strengthen democratic participation by enabling citizens to directly voice their concerns

- The preparation and implementation of up to 20 events
- The production and distribution of video content through the AAB and Fun Facts channels
- The promotion of civic engagement through accessible formats
